Then by all means go out and by some fruits, vegetables, and perhaps 100% whole grain bread. Why regret eating non-veg or taking false-satisfaction from the tiny cubes of vegetables when you can get the real thing?

I wish I did not not eat non-veg simply because I don't need meat. However, considering that I don't have a job, a garden, and that fresh produce can be expensive if you don't go to the small stores, I just deal with it for now.

P.S.I don't think the seasoning has actual chicken, but I'm not sure.

No, thought not.
It's not vegetarianism's fault, you need to actually eat good food and not the body of a cow.

Kidding: I am a brain eater- by chatting non-stop with friends
It sounds like TRYING to stop smoking- didn't succeed and started smoking again.
I am a vegetarian all my life- so can advice you on that.
You appear to like the concept of vegan, tried it- probably did not enjoy its taste, not succeeded in making the right recipes, you liked the taste of meat better than veggies and probably ate ALL tasteless veggies like a medicine and did not had enough PROPORTION of all the nutrients. I will tell you what I eat to do my 3mile jog three times a week and feel quite comfortable with my body state.
Carbohydrates: Bread, rice, Chapati/ roti
Proteins: Milk, lentils, diary products
Vitamins and minerals: Vegetables(as curry though), spinach and fruits
I would suggest you start experiencing different veg stuff along with your meat stuff first- to know what are available, what you can do and what you enjoy most.
A gradual approach is better than a hasty one
Enjoy veggie experiments
Cheers
